Doctors and hypertension societies recommend taking at least two readings every time and average the measurement value, because blood pressure fluctuates during the day. Microlife’s patented MAM technology performs three consecutive measurements in every session. The readings are analysed and weighted for a more accurate result and the average blood pressure value is provided.

Smart MAM is an evolution of Microlife intelligent MAM technology. It's based on the same Triplicate Measurement algorithm of MAM but skips the 3^rd measurement when the first two measurements are very consistent.

Saving time and more comfortable with better user-friendly, but still remain the accuracy and advantages of MAM technology.

The 3^rd measurement will still be taken when irregular pulse detected or the results between 1^st and 2^nd measurements are not sufficiently consistent.
