Compatibity

Q: What smartphones are compatible with Microlife Connected Health+ App?

Microlife Connected Health+ App is compatible with smartphones of the following operating systems:

  • Android OS: 5.0 or newer
  • iOS: 11 or newer

Q: Is Microlife Connected Health+ App compatible with tablets?

Microlife Connected Health+ App is designed specifically for iOS and Android smartphones and not designed or tested for tablets. It may be compatible on some iOS and Android tablets, but the performance is not guaranteed. We recommend running the app on smart phones.

Permissions

Q: Why does the Connected Health+ app asks for permissions of camera, photo album, microphone and call management?

Microlife Connected Health+ App needs the user to grant certain permissions in order to run the features of the App. In this instance, the camera, photo album, and microphone permissions are necessary to use the “Remark” feature, which allows the user to take photo, attach photo, and take voice recordings to comment and make notes for a specific measurement reading.

Q: Why does the Connected Health+ app asks for permission of location?

Microlife Connected Health+ App needs the user to grant permission of Bluetooth in order to execute data transfer. On Android operation system / devices the Bluetooth permission is bundled with mobile device location permission, for certain device locating services related to the Bluetooth on Android device. Thus, this is a technical restriction and the App must also ask the user to grant permission to device location, in addition to Bluetooth permission. Using Microlife Connected Health+ with blood pressure monitors

Q: Can two users use and share a single blood pressure monitor (BPM) unit?

It depends on whether your blood pressure monitor (BPM) supports two users. If the BPM has two users (1 and 2), then it is feasible for two users to take measurements using the same BPM unit, as long as each user takes measurements using his or her designated user slot. The data memory for user 1 and 2 are separated on the BPM. The data transfer to the App is user-specific (e.g. BPM uploads only the data of the selected user (1 or 2) to the App). To manage the user data separately, the two users should use two different phones with different Connected Health+ accounts.

Q: Can two or more users use and share the same blood pressure monitor (BPM) unit (if the BPM only supports one user)?

It is possible for multiple users to the same BPM, without mixing the data of different users. To manage this situation:
 
  • The each user must turn on the “Clear data on BP monitor after each download” option in their App.
  • Each user should carry out data sync after taking measurement.
Once the measurement data is successfully uploaded to the App, the data memory on the BPM is cleared, so that the memory will be empty and only store the next user’s data (thus avoid mixing data of different users).

Trouble Shooting

Q: Why can I find my measurement data on the Connected Health+ app after a successful data transfer?

Please check for the following to ensure your data are correctly transferred from the device to the App.
 
  • If the date & time of the device is not set, your measurement data will not contain the date & time of when the measurement was taken. In this case the Connected Health+ App cannot correctly save the measurement data for review.
  • If the date & time of the device is set incorrectly, for instance the year is set to the current year, you may find the measurement data incorrectly arranged to an unexpected date & time range.

Q: Can I connect to multiple Microlife products over Bluetooth using one mobile phone / App at the same time?

Because the App is designed for a one-to-one connection and data transfer, while your iOS and Android mobile device may support Bluetooth connection to multiple devices simultaneously, we do not recommend connecting to multiple Microlife devices at the same time, as the data transfer operations with different devices may interfere with each other and causing issues with the data transfer process.
